    Hey all, ive been primal for about 3 weeks now and im feeling great. The first week was a breeze and i dropped a few pounds, since then though it has been getting progressively harder. After explaining to my friends and family why i wont be eating from the "menu" for the last 3 weeks has been tolerable but recently i have been getting some cravings. sugar mostly.

    I was wondering if you ever binge (assuming we all do to some extend) and if so what do you binge on?. My current go to binge foods have been almonds/dark chocolate and bananas - what do you lot use?

    i attempted to eat the whole thing on friday.
    if i'm gonna binge, i'm gonna make it good and big.

      one of my favorite binges is a dark chocolate pound plus bar and some almond butter to dip it in. i used to eat peanut butter cups all the time and this hits the same spot. my girlfriend is making me a cake next week and i won't turn that down.

        My binge of choice is cheese... oddly enough, that was the answer before PB too!

          Batty- HHAHA that looks AMAZING. Go big or go home, for sure!

          dark chocolate + cashew butter is my drug of choice.

            2 bananas
            1 zucchini
            1 carrot
            2 sweet potatoes

            My stomach hurts. Not recommended.

                Batty, your binge style reminds me of this Mike Tyson quote:

                  No particular order:
                  macadamia nuts
                  almond butter
                  Also coconut cream bars. Really, I could live off this stuff.

                    sweet binge is GOO (developed in part by 4 year olds):

                    any type of syrup (honey, maple, molasses)
                    dark chocolate chips
                    dried coconut
                    dark cherries

                    mix it all together in a bowl and eat it with a spoon. "Its like a candy bar in a bowl!"

                      You know you hit the primal rock bottom when your binge is, and I kid you not when I say this, vegetables! I don't give two shits about cookies, cake, ice cream, sweets, or any other indulgences, but get me a whole heap of some veggies (esoecially those nightshades; damn I love them) and I am in nirvana. There are days where I just slice up some eggplant, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, asparagus, onions, and anything else green I could find, bake it, and go crazy. That veggie concoction beats a cheesecake any day.

                      That and shaved coconut. That will be the bane of me it is that good.

                      And gin. Gin and seltzers make me do whacky things.

                      I find I can't do sweets anymore; I had a little piece of 99% dark chocolate (with 0.4 g sugar in my piece) and that was way too sweet.

                            I'm not much on deserts but on my birthday my wife bakes me a German chocolate cake. All I need is the cake, a gallon of milk and don't dare put your hands in the immediate area, I will bite. Glad that is only once a year.
