  • Eggs for babies

My kido is now 6 months old and from what all conventional nutrition is saying we have to wait about a year old to give her eggs. Has anyone giving there baby eggs at an earlier age? Any issues?

My 10 month old gets eggs with some regularity now.. started with just some yolks but now he's eating the whites too.. mostly eating what we have cooked (scrambled, omelets etc..) no issues that I can see.

Eggs were one of my baby's first foods. Advice in the uk is that you can give them after six months but watch for allergies as you first introduce them. If you're worried just serve the yolks as it tends to be the whites that provoke a reaction.
