  • What I Know From Experience...

From my experience, I know that myself, and lots of Americans, we love our junk food. Whether it is McDonalds, Wendy's, Pizza Hut, or Burger King to name a few, the temptation is always there. We know this because the food is very good, and it fills us up well. But, one thing that we must understand is that these temptations are not always good for our health. As time goes by, not only do our hearts and arteries suffer, but our colon will suffer as well. This is because all of the different greases and oils that we take it from these foods. In time, this behavior will damage our bodies. A year ago, my cholesterol was 230, and i was warned. I made a choice to start baking foods, because i had too. I made a decision to take the doctor's advice, and it has helped. Also, i helped myself by eating chicken, veggies, fruits, and wheat bread just to name a few.

For me, it was a hard process, but i made proper adjustments. Hopefully, this info helped you.

What the hell... you've converted to baked foods and that's improved your health? Like cakes and shit?

Or are you baking your meat and veges!? Seems like a pretty lame way to cook stuff. Fry everything in butter. It's clearly the best way to do things.

You do realize cholesterol is good for you right? Like, you realize what happens when you restrict cholesterol - your body just makes more to compensate. Because it's an essential nutrient. Now, now, you might ramble on about LDL this, and HDL that, but that's irrelevant since cholesterol doesn't cause any diseases.

On a side note, I'm always hearing about how terrible the average American diet is - but is that really true or is it just something paleo-people say to feel superior?

Like do Americans really live off a diet of Donuts, KFC and Carls Jr?

Yeah maybe this paleo or primal stuff is just an excuse to eat all the bad stuff like meat, animal fat, eggs, and lots of it!

Some people I know do. But the same people decry the food pyramid, when it would seem most people never really followed it, and a lot of people's poor health seems to have pre-dated it.
