  • Have any Primal Vitamix Recipes?

    I don't know if anybody else has a fancy schmancy high powered blender, but I'm looking for some primal friendly recipes for it. I originally got my Vitamix a few years ago durring my CW days and barely used it not long after. Most of the recipes cater to the vegan community, so I would appreciate any ideas.

    I made a recipe today, but didn't measure anything.
    It had baked chicken breasts, celery, green onions, salt, pepper, and a homemade Greek Tzatziki sauce. It was all blended into a paste or pate texture. It tasted great and went well with vegetables like celery.

    Hayley and I got a Blendtec about 2 months ago and have been making some great recipes with it. We have almost 200 uses on it already! (we're fans, to say the least).

    Here are some of our recipes that can get you started. They're easy ones, but I think you'll like them:

      Thanks. I love asparagus, so I'll gather the ingredients for that next time I go shopping.

        I most frequently make these three things with my VitaMix

        1. smoothies for breakfasts with my Vitamix - Kale, berries, whey protein powder, 1/2 avocado, ice, lime juice
        2. Whipped cream - heavy cream and a little stevia
        3. Apple sauce - apples and a little lemon juice

          I make my own mayonnaise, salad dressing, sauces for meats and veggies, smoothies for the family daily, primal friendly ice cream, tomato soup I could go on and on. I don't think I've used a kitchen appliance as much as I've used my Vitamix. Sorry, everything is created as I go so no recipes but you sure can do a lot once the creative juices get flowing! Mine came with a recipe book that didn't strike me as vegan heavy at all. I'd try going on their web site. Sometimes it just takes a couple of suggestions to get the ideas going right?

            I make breakfast shakes in the morning.

            Green shake for snack - kale, banana, and a little water.

            I've made soups, pesto, and sauces

              I concocted this recipe when I was trying to have more vegetables and more bone broth. It's basically pureed veggie soup with homemade stock, flavored with a touch of curry powder:
