  • School lunch ideas

I'm not the most creative person when it comes to lunch because I frequently don't eat at that time of day. So, I'm trying to think of things to pack in my daughter's lunch for school because she has finally decided that she no longer wants the slop they serve there (I knew she'd come around). Whatever it is, it needs to be good cold since she'll have no way to heat anything. Any suggestions? (other than just salad, because I'm at least that creative)

    Meat roll ups!!!!

Deli sliced london broil... roll it up with some cheese, roasted red peppers, lettuce, sun dried tomatos, and so forth.

Scotch Eggs... They are great cold!!!

    Maybe a little antipasto platter???

Yeah, I'm all for good lunch ideas. So far, my girlfriend and I have been rocking salads, normally with bacon or steak or some kind of protein. But eventually, those can get really, really old.

Great ideas all around. Thanks for the links, too. Can't believe I didn't think of meat rollups. When I was a kid I used to love bologna wrapped around a pickle spear. I can easily update that to something else.
