Apparently, fatty foods create "a cocaine like addiction." Really? 'Cause I coulda sworn it would br the HFCS and carbs in those.

I liked the part where they referenced the rats from an earlier study that had been given unlimited access to cocaine and heroin. Maybe the researchers were sharing their personal drugs with the rats?

It's hard to believe that someone would lump bacon and sugar into the same category.

If fat were that addictive, I'd be really happy. I find only carbs to addictive like that.

Aargh!! I sure wish someone would do a study of fat in Primal style versus the fat/sugar/carb that they consistently use!

Yes, they lump fats all together for some of their high-fat versus low-fat recommendations; or else they mention only saturated versus unsaturated. The REALLY SOPHISTICATED ones mention monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, and then lump saturated animal fat with transfats, and label them BAD.

And always the tendency to blame fats instead of carbs.
