  • Issues with Primal/Paleo/Low Carb - Low Testosterone?

I ran across this article today on a forum about how to address low testosterone. I couldn't find anything on the forums that address this, so I thought I would post it here. Has there been any work on rebutting these findings or are they misunderstanding primal?

Being primal doesn't mean being low carb. Of course, I guess that depends on what your definition of 'low carb' is.
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

        Not that I ever heard.

But then if an ancestral diet trashed your testosterone levels I guess none of us would be here.

Perhaps if you misunderstood and therefore wrongly implemented Primal you could conceivably run in trouble. Lots of lean meat and undressed salads, eating egg whites and trashing the yolks, might not be a good idea.
